Murillo's Mexican Food

If it's not The Black Oak Rest, Nut Tree or old Onion smell from Basic Foods back in the day, Vacaville has been known for its staple of Mexican Restaurants, one being Murillos. I been patron since 1986. Very good, tasty food! Excellent service and plenty of seating! Pork Burrito and chicken tostada with lots of hot and mild red sauces. Pacos special is Bomb, chili verde plate. Local, passing thru or visiting, murrilos is place to try or revisit

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated immediately and had chips and salsa right away which were really good. Food was really good and just enough. Beans were good and I don't love beans. Would definitely come back!

Yummy and fast, with good service - this is one of my favorite mexican restaurants. Have been going here for years with family, so it's like comfort food for us :)

Quick service, good food, and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend by yourself or as a group. Would also recommend calling ahead on weekends as it can get pretty busy. Aside from that, be sure to check your food when you order on the phone. They are happy to remake the food if it's not right.

Been eating at both locations in Vacaville all my life. Some of the best restaurant Mexican restaurants going! Love their freshly made tortillas and chips and just about everything on the menu. Service is top notch!

Always love Murillo’s on East Monte Vista. Food is great. Sometimes waitresses don’t pay attention enough but I know being a waitress isn’t easy. Still go back though!

This place is great. Authentic, delicious, reasonably priced amazing food. This is a vacaville gem. The fish tacos and chimichanga are amazing, also the micheladas are on point!!

Old style 70s era nice people .Food was clean prices fair. But not the Mexican food l am use too. Been driving past the place for over 40 years.

Decent main course food, but their rice and beans leave a lot to be desired. Their salsa also seems like just tomato sauce. Friendly staff, decently fast service, ~$15 plates

WOW!!!!! A hidden gem near The Nut Tree Shopping Center in Vacaville on the West Bound Side of I-80. This place has been open since 1970 and still going strong. I have past by it for 21 years, but decided to finally try. All I can say is, "what took me so long?" I had the Chili Verde and my wife had Shredded Beef Chimichangas. The Rice, flavorful, the refried beans, smooth.

This will FOREVER be a part of my happy places from my childhood. Loyal to Murrillos since the 80s... will always be ❤

I've been going to Murillo's forever!!! For the most part they're very consistent and the food is hearty and good!!! One quirk I love a good amount of beans and rice and that doesn't seem to fit the plan....

The food was good & the service was great. It was a little pricey for the amount of food you get though. It's hard to tell though with the new wage hike, they have to make a buck too or they won't be there anymore. Try it though, it's a good authentic Mexican restaurant.

The tacos dorado were very good & I liked the salsa very much. The beans were good but not fantastic. However, I am very picky about my beans! I will definitely go back.

Solid dependable delicious Mexican food. We had a large group and all meals were served together and correctly. Impressive considering how full the restraurant was!

I've been going Murillo's for a long time. It's hard to believe the consistency of how well the food tasted. Paco's Special was and still is my favorite.We had a group of 15 and everyone's food looked terrific. Everyone was pleased with the service and taste of their food. The service was great and food reasonably priced.This establishment serves mixed drinks, wines and 🍺 beer on tap.One of our favorite places to go!

Food was good but not great. I had the Super Burrito. Not a lot of flavor. Service was pleasant but a bit slow and didn't offer to fill my ice tea. Overall, it was a good experience

The service was excellent, our order was delivered to our table in less than 10 minutes from the time we placed our order.The food was delicious.
